Milbe Responsible Gaming Policy

Your safety and wellbeing are our top priority. Play responsibly, stay safe

What is responsible gaming and why it matters

At milbe we believe betting should be a recreational activity, never a solution to financial problems or a cause of addiction. Responsible gaming means keeping your betting activity under control, knowing your limits and enjoying gaming as healthy entertainment.

We are committed to creating an environment where you can play safely and consciously. To this end, we provide various tools, resources, and support so you can control your betting habits and get help when needed.

Statistics show that approximately 3-5% of betting enthusiasts in Bangladesh exhibit problem gambling behavior. As a safe platform, milbe actively supports you in protecting yourself from addiction and building healthy gaming habits.

Remember

Betting is never a source of income—it's purely for entertainment. Only bet what you can afford to lose. Never gamble with borrowed money or funds meant for essential expenses.

1. Recognize Problem Gambling Signs

Betting addiction develops gradually and is crucial to identify in its early stages. Be alert if you notice these signs in yourself or a loved one:

Financial signs

  • Exceeding Budget: Spending more money than your set budget
  • Taking Loans: Taking loans or borrowing money to bet
  • Unable to Pay Bills: Unable to pay urgent bills or family expenses
  • Selling assets: Selling valuable assets to fund betting

Behavioral signs

  • Privacy: Hiding betting from family or friends
  • Lying: Lying about how much money or time spent gambling
  • Chasing losses: Betting more to recover lost money
  • Loss of control: Unable to stop even when wanting to
  • Extended Time: Spending more and more time betting each day

Emotional & Social Signs

  • Anxiety and Depression: Feeling restless or depressed when not betting
  • Relationship damage: Relationships with family and friends deteriorating
  • Neglecting work: Declining focus on work or studies
  • Withdrawal: Avoiding social activities
  • Guilt: Feeling deep guilt after betting

Critical Warning Signs

If any of the following situations occur, seek help immediately:

Spending money meant for food, rent, or medical care on betting

Having suicidal thoughts because of betting

At risk of losing your job due to betting

Family threatening to leave you

Raising money illegally to fund betting

Physical health deteriorating (sleep, eating issues)

2. Use Your Control Tools

Milbe gives you complete control to play safely. Go to Account Settings or contact our Support team to activate these tools.

Self-Control Tools

Set Deposit Limits

Set a daily maximum of ৳5,000, weekly ৳20,000, or monthly ৳50,000 limit. A 24-72 hour cooling period applies to increase limits. Decreasing limits takes effect immediately. This ensures you cannot overspend in a moment of excitement.

Set a Loss Limit

Set a maximum daily, weekly, or monthly loss limit. Example: If you set a daily ৳2,000 loss limit, you cannot bet again that day after losing this amount. This protects your capital and prevents further losses driven by emotion.

Session Timeout

Set a playing time of 1-6 hours at once. When time expires you'll receive a pop-up notification and be logged out. You can take a break and return. Playing for extended periods leads to mental fatigue and poor decisions, so regular breaks are essential.

Take a break

Temporarily freeze your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. During this time you cannot log in or place any bets. Use this tool when you need a break due to stress, financial issues or personal reasons. It will automatically reactivate after the break ends.

Self-exclusion

Exclude yourself from milbe for 6 months, 1 year or permanently. During this time you cannot open a new account or receive any promotions. This is the strongest tool when you realize betting is negatively affecting your life. Accounts cannot be reopened before the self-exclusion period ends.

Enable Reality Check

Every 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours, a reminder will appear on screen showing a summary of your playing time and spending. This keeps you aware and prevents you from suddenly spending too much time or money. You can turn it off if you wish, but we always recommend keeping it on.

3. Best Practices for Responsible Gaming

Before you start betting

  1. Set a Budget: Decide how much money you can afford to lose and never exceed that limit. It should not be more than 5-10% of your monthly disposable income.
  2. Set Time Limits: Keep betting to a maximum of 1-2 hours per day. Leave enough time for family, work, and other hobbies.
  3. Stay Calm: Never bet when drunk, angry, or depressed. Decisions made under the influence of emotions are often wrong.
  4. Educate Yourself: Have a good understanding of the games or markets you're betting on. Avoid blind betting.

While Betting

  1. Avoid Chasing: Don't try to recover losses immediately by placing another bet. This leads to even bigger losses.
  2. Stay Cautious After Winning: Don't bet all your winnings again. Withdraw some and enjoy your win.
  3. Diversify: Don't put all your money on one bet—make smaller bets. This reduces risk.
  4. Take Breaks: Take a 5-10 minute break every 30-45 minutes. Walk around, drink water.

After betting

  1. Review: Review your betting history once a week and analyze patterns.
  2. Stay honest: Be honest with yourself and your family about your gaming.
  3. Keep Balance: Keep betting as a small part of your life, not your whole life.
  4. Seek Help: Don't delay seeking help if you're experiencing problems.

6. Myths vs. Reality

Many misconceptions about betting are common. Know the truth:

❌ Myth: "I'll win big soon and get it all back"

✅ Reality: House edge means the platform always profits in the long run. Chasing losses only leads to more losses.

❌ Myth: "I can stop anytime"

✅ Reality: Addiction takes away your control. Seeking help early is crucial.

❌ Myth: "Betting addiction only affects weak people"

✅ Reality: Addiction can affect anyone regardless of education, income, or age. It's a health condition, not a character flaw.

❌ Myth: "I only play for fun, I don't have a problem"

✅ Reality: Problems develop gradually. If your gaming is negatively affecting your life, relationships or finances, it's a problem.

❌ Myth: "Seeking help is shameful"

✅ Reality: Seeking help is a sign of strength and the first step to recovery. Thousands of people have successfully overcome addiction.

You can activate self-exclusion by emailing support@milbe.biz or contacting live chat.

A 24-72 hour cooling period ensures you're not raising limits impulsively or emotionally to chase losses. This time gives you a chance to reconsider the decision. However, lowering limits takes effect immediately because it's for your protection.
